2017 SCA Food Drive and Open House
Saturday, September 30 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
David Prouty High School
All are encouraged to bring a donation of non-perishable food or financial contribution to benefit the Spencer Food Pantry. Last year, they helped feed over 7,000 people. They rely on the kindness of the community to help those in need. SCA will match financial contributions up to $1,000, so your donation will be doubled.
The Spencer Food Pantry
The Spencer Food Pantry is located at Mary, Queen of the Rosary parish on Maple Street. The pantry serves families and individuals in need from Spencer and East Brookfield by providing food and household necessities. Please donate non-perishable food items, toiletries, or a financial contribution to help support their mission and the very important work they do. Spencer Cable Access will match all financial contributions up to $1,000.
DPHS Innovation Lab
Come see the new state-of-the-art Innovation Lab at David Prouty High School. The Innovation Lab is a room where students can build solutions to problems using creativity and collaboration. Communications technology is integrated into the workspace, so that students can demonstrate their ideas to real-world partners in schools, labs, and industries around the globe. Come see the lab on September 30.
SCA Open House
Spencer Cable Access welcomes you to tour our television studio, get to know the staff, and see how local content is produced and cablecast right to your home or mobile device. Visit SCATV.org for information on who we are, what we do, and most importantly, how you can get connected with your town.
Every year, the Feeding Our Neighbors event brings different parts of the community together to create a fun and meaningful event. This year is no different.
